About TweakMill
TweakMill is a single bookmarkable hub of free web utilities—calculators and converters, cooking helpers, word games, timers, and text tools—built so you can finish a small task and leave without installing software or creating an account.
Quality & sources explains publisher transparency; How we verify tools and BBQ planner methodology add focused write-ups for reviewers and curious readers.
What we publish
Each page focuses on one job: convert units or currencies, estimate cook times, play a quick game, or tighten wording before you send a message. The home page lists everything we ship today and explains how Smart rewrite differs from subscription chat tools (it runs in your browser for rephrasing—we do not send your pasted draft to our servers for that step).
We group utilities roughly by everyday use—money and shopping, cooking, words and puzzles, time and scheduling, and general math—but you do not need to care about categories; search or scan the catalog when you already know the task.
How results are produced
Pure browser tools. Many calculators and games compute entirely on your device. What you type stays in the page unless you explicitly copy or share it elsewhere.
Network-backed reference data. Some tools need live or periodically updated information. Our currency-related pages state their source: reference exchange-rate data via the Frankfurter API, which is built on ECB publication schedules. Rates are reference figures for estimation—not bank quotes, trading prices, or settlement instructions.
Advertising scripts. The site is ad-supported (see Privacy). Third-party ad and consent scripts may load according to your region and choices; they are separate from the logic that performs conversions or games on each tool page.
Accuracy, limits, and trust
We aim for clear labels, sane defaults, and honest caveats. Numbers can still be wrong because of bugs, rounding, outdated inputs, or misunderstandings of what you entered. Nothing here replaces a qualified professional—see our Disclaimer for medical, legal, tax, and financial boundaries.
If you spot a misleading description, a broken interaction, or an outdated reference link, please tell us via the Contact page so we can fix or clarify it.
Policies and terms
The same documents apply across the site: Privacy policy (cookies, ads, analytics), Terms of use, and Disclaimer. They are ordinary URLs—not PDFs hidden behind forms—so you can verify consistency page to page.
Who operates TweakMill
The site is run as an independent, ad-supported utility hub operated from Australia. We do not sell accounts for core calculators or games; the goal is fast pages you can bookmark and revisit. Product feedback and corrections go through our published Contact email.
Editorial choices
We prefer plain language and visible assumptions (rounding, rate timestamps, meat doneness notes) over “black box” results. New tools tend to appear when there is a clear everyday workflow—shopping math, pit timing, word puzzles—not when the page would duplicate another reputable calculator with no added clarity.
If industry practice moves (for example ECB publication timing or browser APIs), individual tool pages are updated; the hub listing on the home page stays the navigation spine.
Browsers and accessibility
Pages are built with semantic HTML and Bootstrap layout. Tools that rely on JavaScript call that out where it matters. If something is unusable with keyboard-only navigation or your assistive tech, tell us via Contact with the tool URL and browser version so we can prioritise a fix.
