Smoker cook planner
Rough cook-time bands for common cuts, tuned by pit setpoint, target internal temp, and cooker profile. Barbecue varies by stall, humidity, and gear—use numbers as a plan, then confirm with a probe and feel.
How profiles work and what we refuse to pretend to know: BBQ & smoker planner methodology.
Using this screen well
- Pick the cut and weight that best match your pack—bone-in butts and flats behave differently even at the same scale weight.
- If your cooker runs hotter than its dial suggests, lower the pit field or mentally shave time—profiles model typical behaviour, not your PID quirks.
- Budget rest time for large cuts; carryover can climb several degrees after you pull heat.
